A quick intro from Amy
Hi everyone, I’m Amy, and I am delighted to be part of the soberIRL squad and I will be the community lead for the Philadelphia, PA-area. I live in the northwest suburbs of the city and have commuted to my job in the Old City section of Philly at a non-profit medical association since 1995. I stopped drinking for good on January 1, 2019 after countless attempts before that to quit the booze. I am a mother of a twenty-something millennial and a Z-generation teen which provides loads of fun daily. I love to read, bake, walk, take exercise classes, and listen to podcasts as part of my sobriety toolkit. I am an avid Philly sports fan and middle child of five kids raised in PA and love to bring people together. Right around my two-year sobriety anniversary I started looking to give back to those in recovery and am excited to be a part of this community to share with others who are sober or sober curious in my neck of the woods.
